Cassie’s life is a bit of a mess right now. She’s recently broken up with boyfriend Jared, her brother is crashing at her apartment, and her bakery is about to be swarmed by the upcoming holiday rush. It doesn’t help that friend and co-worker Tricia won’t be there to help with the holiday madness—especially since they’ve just gotten a large order from Nolan Denver, acclaimed director who’s secretly shooting his next movie in Cassie’s small hometown. But there is a silver lining to all the chaos—his name is Alex Gray. Effortlessly handsome in a movie star sort of way, Alex charms Cassie immediately. Cassie doesn’t realize that Alex actually is a movie star, in town for Nolan’s movie as well. Unaware of her new crush’s status, Cassie lets herself get close to Alex, much to Jared’s dismay. Alex helps Cassie around the bakery and sweeps her off her feet. Everything is going great—until Cassie finds out his true identity. On top of feeling betrayed, Alex’s beautiful celebrity ex Skylar rolls into town for the movie. Can Cassie survive the holiday madness, sort out her feelings, and forgive Alex before the movie wraps and Alex is gone forever?
