Far West Battlefront’s debut full length ‘CHAPTERS’ is a concept album which aims to cover and address issues which most of us will need to endure in some way, shape or form throughout the course of our lives. We wanted to create an album that people from all walks of life could appreciate and relate to, musically and lyrically. The result is 9 tracks of aggression, passion, sadness, hope and many other mixed emotions being told through the stories of our characters, but being felt in a very real way by us as a band, and hopefully by you, the listener. Although sometimes the subject matter of each song is exaggerated and intensified for dramatic effect, each situation depicted is something most of us have, or will feel in the future. We tell tales of crumbling relationships, young couples destroying themselves through arguments, drug abuse and promiscuity but all the time being held together by an undying love and obsession for each other. We talk about those feelings we have others, where the fear of ruining a friendshipor just not having the courage to say it out loud causes the one opportunity to slip through yourfingers. We want people to develop an attachment and be moved by the journey this album takes, and hopefully they’ll want to keep revisiting, either specific parts or the CD as a whole. With anyluck, ‘CHAPTERS’ will give people the same feelings, emotions and enjoyment we experienced whilewriting and recording it.
