Time Stands Still

The first album in 3 years, and only the 11th in a career spanning 40 years - from one of the great modern singer/songwriter/guitarists. Chris Smither (born november 11, 1944 in Miami, FL) is a folk/blues singer, guitarist and songwriter. His music draws deeply from the blues, American folk music, modern poets and philosophers. Recorded in only three days, 'Time Stands Still' is both pensive and visceral – featuring eight new original compositions and a song apiece from Bob Dylan, Mark Knopfler, and 1920s country-blues songster Frank Hutchison.
