Whenever You See Me
KITTY, DAISY & LEWIS have spent the last three years writing songs and building a new 16-track analogue studio in a derelict Indian restaurant in Camden Town. Once they got their hands on their new studio space, they knew that they wanted to take the third album to another level. An early fan, Mick Jones (The Clash) was keen to get involved, and as producer he immediately started weekly rehearsals with KITTY, DAISY & LEWIS in their home, learning and playing the songs, as he had done when working with The Libertines. In practice Jones became a new band member during the months of rehearsing, and guests on a couple of tracks. In the summer of 2014, the family band recorded ‘Kitty, Daisy & Lewis The Third’, a unique, self-penned third studio album that sets them apart from anything else today. The stories in this album resonate with moods and melodies that touch you in ways that are both uplifting and unnerving. With three different writers and multi-instrumentalists in the band each track is a sparkling gem that reflects a different facet of experience. ‘Whenever You See Me’ is the third single from ‘Kitty, Daisy & Lewis The Third’, released in time for the siblings’ Australian & New Zealand tour for Splendour In The Grass 2015.
